A fabulous two-piece set from the 1960s by Jack Bryan, built for cocktail hour drama. The dress has a deep brown-black bodice with a wide V neckline, topped with a crisp black satin bow at the empire waist, releasing into a full sweep of accordion-pleated black organza over rayon. The hem finishes in a ruffled, scalloped edge that adds movement to every step. The matching cropped jacket has a wide notched collar and flutter sleeves trimmed in the same satin ribbon, meant to be worn open over the bow or removed for a more bared-shoulder look. Playful and a little bit mod, with the volume and drama of a proper babydoll silhouette. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
