1940s Lenbarry Flecked Rayon Day Dress with Scarlet Scarf

A smartly tailored 1940s day dress in dark aubergine rayon with a nubby slub weave, flecked in scarlet and grey. An attached scarf ties in a bow at the scalloped keyhole neckline, and the asymmetric button front is trimmed with bold red and black striped buttons. Padded shoulders, short cuffed sleeves, a self-fabric buckle belt, and hip pocket over a softly pleated, slim skirt give it a classic wartime-era silhouette. In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
