There’s something irresistible about a one-shoulder gown that manages to look both classical and completely modern — and this custom 1950's piece does exactly that. The bodice is intricately draped and shirred on the diagonal across a single shoulder, gathering at the waist before releasing into a full, flowing skirt that moves beautifully. The pale lemon silk chiffon has that particular sheer silk glow that photographs and wears like nothing else. Fully lined in taffeta, closing with the original metal zipper up the back — this was a custom commission, not off-the-rack, and the handwork in the bodice draping shows it. In excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
