A stunning 1940s evening gown in black rayon crepe, cut with a fitted bodice, nipped waist, and long, gently flared skirt that dips a little longer in the back. The dramatic cape-like collar is blush pink, densely hand-beaded and rhinestone-studded in a scrolling floral and paisley motif, with a scalloped edge that sweeps from shoulder to shoulder across both front and back. Elbow-length sleeves. The bodice closes down the front with black buttons, while the original metal zipper closes the side. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.

Condition: Overall excellent, minor signs of wear typical of age. One small nickel sized  repair found towards the bottom of the skirt on the right side. Not seen when worn. Wear and presents beautifully.
