An absolutely spectacular piece of vintage Hawaiian fashion, this show-stopping sarong dress by the iconic Kamehameha of Hawaii is a masterclass in early 1960s exotic glamour. Rendered in 100% acetate, the fabric glows with a rich ombré palette shifting dramatically from deep forest green at the bodice through chartreuse and olive to warm amber and burnt gold at the hem 
The allover print features a bold abstract tiki-inspired motif of geometric symbols, crowns, spirals and linear forms rendered in dark brown and black — a striking mid-century design that perfectly captures the era’s fascination with Polynesian art and culture.
The strapless bodice is dramatically draped with a single sweeping diagonal sash that crosses from the left waist up and over the right shoulder, creating a fluid, goddess-like silhouette. Inside, built-in structured bullet bra cups provide support and that quintessentially 1950s–60s pointed silhouette. The sleek pencil skirt falls to midi length with a back slit for ease of movement, and the back bodice features elastic for a beautifully fitted finish.
