Pure 1950s drama: a vivid red taffeta full-skirted evening dress with black Chantilly-style lace laid over the bodice, cap sleeves, and hem in a rich floral scroll pattern. The lace bodice frames a scalloped neckline that reads almost illusion-necked against the mannequin, with the same lace edging the short sleeves and forming a deep scalloped band at the skirt’s hem. The bodice is fitted and seamed through the waist, releasing into a wonderfully full, dramatic skirt built for movement. Zips up the back with the original metal zipper. A knockout party dress — the kind of piece that photographs as beautifully as it wears. In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.

Condition:  Overall excellent, minor signs of wear typical of age. A couple tiny breaks in the lace, only noticed upon close inspection. Wears and presents beautifully.
