A masterfully constructed 1930s bias-cut evening gown in black silk crepe. The body is engineered entirely in chevron seaming — descending V-shaped panels that contour the torso and hips before releasing into a flared, floor-length skirt. The short cape sleeves are cut separately and finished with radiating fan pleats, a hallmark of the period’s interest in geometric Art Deco decorative detail. Deep V-neckline front and back. I paired an optional ivory silk camellia at the bust as a styling suggestion. Slips on over the head effortlessly, fits an extra small to small with lots of bias stretch. In excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
