An utterly charming 1970's cotton dress in a classic Dresden Plate quilt print, navy ground scattered with tiny white calico dots, overlaid with a grid of hexagons framing colorful pieced “flower” medallions in red, blue, yellow, and green calico patches centered on a white floral hub. The bodice is fitted through a princess-seamed waist with a square scoop neckline, dropping into a gathered, tiered midi skirt that gives it a country-prairie silhouette. Back zip closure. A wonderful piece of 1970s Americana — the patchwork-quilt print was a beloved motif of the decade, turning a humble homespun craft into a charming wearable dress. In excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
