A ghostly, cobweb-fine survivor of the flapper era, worked entirely in metallic soutache and cording over silk net. The design reads as an all-over paisley medallion pattern, with dense metallic embroidery concentrated at the scalloped, sweetheart-shaped neckline and cascading down the bodice in curling floral and foliate motifs. The metallic thread has softened to a warm pewter-gold patina with age. Dropped waist with a scalloped hem finishing at tea-length. Sleeveless, with the armholes and neckline finished in a fine metallic cord edge. Slips on over the head. A delicate but wearable beauty with signs of wear typical of age.

Condition: wearable with signs of wear and breaks in the netting. We have meticulously hand repaired all the significant breaks in the netting but some small holes remain. Perfectly wearable, but not perfect. Being sold as-is. 

All of our pieces are thoroughly inspected and repaired by our in house professional seamstress prior to shipping to ensure your garment is in ready to wear condition upon arrival. We ship our items out on Thursdays. Please allow extra time for wedding dresses and large orders.
