My favorite kind of summer dress. A chic sleeveless shift in pale ice blue polished cotton, this early-to-mid 1960s day dress is distinguished by an oversized painterly floral print — two full blooms in cobalt and violet with loose, gestural brushstroke foliage sweeping diagonally across both front and back. The notched neckline and clean, unadorned silhouette keep the focus squarely on the print, which has the spontaneous energy of a canvas rather than a conventional textile. Princess seams at the back provide shaping without disrupting the minimalist line. Fully lined. Back zipper closure. In excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
