Elegant & Chic Early 1960's Butter Yellow Wool Overcoat / M
đź‘‹ A B O U TÂ
There’s an ease to this early-1960s coat that gives it a thoroughly modern and timeless feel. Made from Petitspun’s luxury basketweave wool — a fine, textured Australian lambswool exclusive to the label — the coat falls in a generous swing shape from a notched, spread collar, with roomy set-in sleeves finished with a smart back vent at the cuff. Nine mother-of-pearl-style buttons close the front, and slanted, flapped welt pockets keep the look tailored rather than boxy. It’s the kind of coat that could go from ladies-who-lunch to a gallery opening, in a soft butter yellow that still reads fresh over sixty years later. Shown here with a vintage jeweled pear brooch, not included but available on the website. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.Â
