The quintessential early 1950's New Look era cotton dress in classic navy blue by Lanz in a rare Herbert Meyer fabric. The fabric itself is remarkable. A medium weight cotton with a subtle nubby texture and printed with oblong polka dots. Lanz was famous for their impeccable construction and reluctance to use zipper, opting instead for buttons, snaps and hook and eyes. This dress features a flattering dropped waist, three quarter sleeves, and a full gathered skirt. In excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
