Absolutely spectacular early 1960's polished cotton party dress by high end label Mam'selle designed by Betty Carol. Composed of inky black polished cotton in a luscious pink and red floral print reminiscent of floating cherry blossoms. The dress is heavy, with a skirt made up of yards and yards of fabric. The skirt is a full ruffled double layered circle and is naturally full without a crinoline. The movement is phenomenal! So Audrey Hepburn. The classic bateaux neckline, low back and velvet bow complete the look. Zips up the back with original metal zipper. Comes complete with original petticoat and separate sleeveless top. In excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
