A romantic pair of hand-painted Italian tole (toleware) candle sconces, each fashioned as a flowering branch in gilt-toned white metal, sprouting hand-formed and hand-painted tin leaves in variegated olive and moss green. Each sconce carries two dimensional roses in a warm coral-red, their petals individually shaped and layered for a lifelike, blown-open bloom. A single candle cup and drip pan, styled as a flower, is worked into the branch on each — sized for a standard taper.

Classic Florentine tole work of the type produced in Italy from the 1950s through the 1970s, popular for cottage, French Country, and Hollywood Regency interiors alike. 

Measure 13.5" tall and about 6" wide 

In excellent condition, minor signs of wear typical of age.
