Absolutely gorgeous late 1950's emerald green silk satin by high end designer Mollie Parnis. I would consider this dress to be demi-couture, based on construction and couture features. Featuring an interior bustier bodice with boning for support, a grosgrain waist stay, a full pleated skirt, pleated shoulders and short sleeves. Beautiful construction throughout. The color is more vibrant in person. Zips up the back with original metal zipper. Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.

Material:  silk satin, rayon lining  

Condition: overall excellent, with one small blemish to the fabric on the edge of the neckline that I suspect was caused by a brooch or corsage. Honestly does not detract from the beauty and is something that could be hidden with a brooch or necklace. Wears and presents beautifully, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. Minor signs of wear typical of age.
