Exquisite antique silk embroidered piano shawl made in Canton. Known often as Manila shawls these hand embroidered works of art were made popular in Latin America, the Philippines and Spain during the Colonial era. 

 Embroidered on both sides this piece depicts a beautiful floral motif. In excellent condition. The fabric is strong and sturdy and the color is brilliant turquoise blue. An heirloom piece worth passing down through generations.

The shawl is square and measures 62"x 62"not including the long 16"  fringe.

Condition: Excellent, the colors are bright and unfaded. Minor signs of wear typical of age.
