This exceedingly rare 1930s evening gown is a luminous study in Old Hollywood glamour, crafted in an extraordinary lapis blue floral lamé woven with real silver metallic threads. The fabric alone is a treasure—its surface shifting from deep gemstone blue to glistening silver as it moves, creating the kind of cinematic glow associated with the great screen goddesses of the decade.

The bodice is shaped into a softly ruched sweetheart neckline, supported by elegant triple shoulder straps—an unmistakably Art Deco touch that adds visual intrigue and delicacy. From the fitted torso, the skirt falls into a long, sweeping line with a bias cut fluidity, giving the gown its signature 1930s movement: graceful, liquid, effortlessly dramatic. At the back, a sculpted V-line draws the eye to a descending row of exquisite silver filigree buttons, each one individually detailed and fastened with handmade thread loops. 

Inside, the gown reveals meticulous handwork: interior ruching channels, narrow bindings, and shaped paneling that allows the fabric to mold to the body without stiffness. The lapis-and-silver jacquard floral pattern shimmers across the gown like moonlight over water, heightening its dreamlike presence. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
