1930s Black Silk Bias-Cut Evening Gown with Crimson Chiffon Sash — A True Femme Fatale Moment

This extraordinary 1930s black silk evening gown is pure silver-screen seduction—an unmistakable embodiment of the femme fatale archetype that defined Hollywood’s most unforgettable leading ladies. Cut on the bias from inky black silk, the gown glides over the body with that languid, liquid movement seen in early Jean Harlow and Garbo costume design, sculpting an hourglass silhouette without ever appearing structured or forced.

A soft asymmetric cowl neckline drapes into a sculpted wrap bodice, while a long panel of crimson silk chiffon is knotted at the shoulder and trails down the back for maximum drama. The opposite shoulder features braided silk straps accented by a sparkling Art Deco dress clip (not included but available to purchase separately) adding the perfect touch of starlet shimmer. The sash is long enough to wrap around the wearer multiple times and could even be worn as a hood!  The low back closes with a series of hidden snaps and hook and eyes in order to not disrupt the lines of the dress. In very good condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
