A stunning mid-century masterpiece, this 1950’s cocktail dress embodies the elegance and craftsmanship of couture fashion. The dress features a sheer black tulle overlay, delicately embroidered with dimensional silk ivory floral appliqués that create a striking contrast. The fitted bodice is framed by long illusion sleeves and a high neckline trimmed in silk. The skirt falls in a graceful A-line, and is gathered in the back. Zips up the side with original metal zipper. I have never seen anything like quite like it! Exceedingly sophisticated and chic with a modern look and feel to it. In overall excellent condition. Clean and ready to wear.
