Crafted from sumptuous black silk faille with a subtle ribbed texture, the dress showcases the dramatic femininity of Dior’s revolutionary New Look — a wasp-waisted silhouette balanced by a voluminous mid-calf skirt. The design features a wide portrait neckline adorned with an extravagant bow, three-quarter sleeves, and masterful seaming that shapes the bodice and waist with couture precision. The bias-cut faille panels are carefully matched to form chevron lines through the waist and hips, accentuating the sculpted hourglass silhouette. Hidden side pockets lend a touch of practicality to its otherwise regal construction.

Finished with an interior tulle petticoat and metal zipper closure, this piece epitomizes mid-century luxury — equal parts sophistication and drama. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
