Rare and exquisite 1920's black silk velvet opera coat from the legendary Au Bon Marche' in Paris. A true piece of antique French couture and featuring long flared sleeves, a funnel neck collar and gorgeous jet black rose motif embroidery. Fully lined in black silk. Buttons at the top of the neck and closes in front with a dramatic beaded closure. In overall excellent condition, shockingly well preserved and sturdy. Clean and ready to wear.
