Absolutely stunning early 1960's (might be late 50's) black silk cut velvet evening dress from Lillie Rubin. A classic midcentury beauty, iconic and breath taking. Abstract white peonies upon a luscious deep black silk accented with velvet foliage. Featuring a sweetheart neckline, fitted waist and dramatic pleated full skirt. Low in the back. Zips up the back with original metal zipper.

 In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
