Absolutely iconic and highly collectable 1950's Alfred Shaheen cotton Hawaiian novelty print sarong style dress with detachable waterfall shoulder train. Featuring a charming  novelty print celebrating Hawaii becoming the 50th state. The colors are shades of terracotta and burnt sienna on a cream background. In excellent condition, the elastic is strong and firm. Zips up the back and ties at the side of the waist. A rare opportunity to own an iconic dress by the master printer himself!

Condition: in excellent condition, minor signs of wear typical of age. Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. Minor fading to the print in a few areas from cleaning. Wears and presents beautifully. Similar Shaheen's in this particular style: 50's, sarong, shoulder swag retail for around 1K to 1200. Priced with minor flaws in mind.
