Absolutely fabulous deep purple 1950's Alfred Shaheen Hawaiian dress. Made from crisp cotton, it showcases a stunning birds of paradise print by the master printmaker himself.  Featuring a pleated full skirt, shelf bust, adjustable shoulder straps. Shirred elastic sides and a built in bra. Zips up the back. In overall very good condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.

Condition:  overall very good, with some wear typical of age. The elastic at the sides has lost some of its strength making it a little larger than it originally was. Very minor fade on the bust, barely perceptible. The original zipper has been replaced. Wears and presents beautifully. Flaws only noticed upon close inspection.
