Spectacular and museum worthy ivory wool cape with gold embroidery from 1905. From the estate of a prolific collector of antique clothing. This extraordinary piece sits comfortably on the shoulders and buttons at the neck. The wool gabardine drapes beautifully and the metallic gold bullion embroidery is regal and dramatic. 
The perfect piece to add drama to a wedding ensemble! 

A rare antique museum piece that is entirely wearable and sturdy. Minor signs of wear typical of age. Would also be perfect for photo shoots, a collection or a study piece.

Condition: the exterior is very good to excellent with only a few minor signs of wear, the bottom half of the interior lining has faint yellowish spots that appear to be rust. The cotton lining at the hem has started to split in places. See close up pictures. Wears and presents beautifully.
