Rare turn of the century antique Chinese wedding jacket featuring elaborate metallic gold couching embroidery done by hand. Decorated with the characters representing longevity. The hem is fully embroidered to resemble water. Meant to be worn loosely, this piece buttons up the front with carved brass buttons and is fully lined in blue silk. In excellent condition, a truly beautiful, wearable work of art.
