Truly spectacular early 1950's New Look era black taffeta evening gown. This rare midcentury beauty features dramatic draping and pleating that flatter and show off the wearers curves. A pair of luscious cabbage roses at the hip. The skirt is full and swishy and moves beautifully for dancing or walking. Zips up the side with original metal zipper. No label found, looks so much like something Ceil Chapman would concoct. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
