Utterly stunning 1950's black wool crepe cocktail dress by legendary couturiere Pauline Trigere. This is an exemplary example of her work. Featuring an hourglass silhouette accented at the hem with a lush taffeta skirt. The back is cut low and a silk collar ties in the back, zips up the side with original metal zipper. A marvel of cut and construction, perfectly preserved over the years and worthy of being exhibited in a museum. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
