 Absolutely extraordinary late 1920's silk velvet evening dress with unusual burnout velvet netting. I have never seen a piece like this one. Made of black silk velvet and featuring a triple tiered skirt, snaps up the side and darling cut outs on the sleeves. The netting is silk and has burnout velvet flowers, leaves and branches. In excellent condition. I am amazing how well this delicate piece has endured through the decades. 

I paired it with a couple different colored slips for fun, neither of which are original to the dress and are more for just styling purposes. Looks fabulous with any color of slip, consider green or red, or a classic blush or ivory.
