Absolutely fabulous 1940's rayon evening dress by designer Jean Carol. This gown is one for the ages! Done in a vibrant chartreuse with violet and grey floral bouquets with bows. Buttons part way down the back and slips on over the head. The classic 40's silhouette with strong padded shoulders, a shirred bodice and peplum at the hips that trails all the way to the hem. A slit up the front. 

The color is hard to capture in photos. It really is a chartreuse green. I have attached a pantone chip that best represents it. 

In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
