Spectacular 1930's silk velvet evening gown in a rich chestnut brown featuring a bias cut silhouette, belted waist, high collar and the most stunning bishop sleeves. Slips on over the head and closes at the top of the neck with hook and eye. The neck has a rhinestone dress clip and the belt closes with a wonderful art deco buckle. The sleeves are split down the center and trimmed with a velvet ruffle. The cuffs are fitted. Being cut on the bias, the gown has quite a bit of stretch to it. 

In overall excellent condition, no flaws, only some areas of crushing in the skirt from wear. Clean and ready to wear.
