Rare piece of American fashion history! Fabulous 1950's "Upstart" cotton sundress by renowned designer Carolyn Schnurer who's pieces are featured in collections and museums around the world. This dress is an exceptional example of her inventive and downright brilliant ability to match form with function. Featuring a sexy strapless button up fitted bodice, a full gathered skirt and attached wrap that can be worn a myriad of different ways. Known as the "upstart" dress, the wrap can be worn and tied many different ways. 

In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
