This impeccable vintage 1960's black wool coat, designed by Muriel Reade for Joseph Stein, is a timeless example of mid-20th-century American tailoring. Constructed from a rich, tightly woven black wool, the coat features a sharply tailored silhouette with a double-breasted front, wide notched lapels subtly accented with velvet, and a nipped-in waist that flares elegantly into a knee-length skirt.

The structured design is enhanced with angled flap pockets, button-tab details, and a back belt inset that emphasizes the coat’s sculptural lines. Fully lined in sleek black taffeta and in excellent/pristine condition. Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
