This rare and unique vintage coat from the 60s-70's is a true work of wearable art, embodying the era’s love of bold color, texture, and individuality. Constructed in a vibrant patchwork of wide-wale corduroy, the coat features an array of jewel-toned and earthy hues—deep burgundy, sapphire blue, burnt orange, forest green, and fiery red—stitched together in dynamic, geometric panels that create a visually captivating mosaic. 

The silhouette is relaxed and slightly cocooned, with dropped shoulders, a notched collar, and bracelet-length sleeves, and patch front pockets. Inside, the coat is fully lined with a contrasting soft floral cotton, in shades of blush, ivory, and muted teal—an unexpected romantic detail that underscores the one-of-a-kind, handcrafted quality of the piece. 

I had a really difficult time dating this piece and finally decided it was safe to say 60's or 70's. However, the construction and fabrication make suggest it might be older. The interior lining looks like its from the 20's-30's and the corduroy looks 1940's era. 

In overall excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
