I’m so excited to present this rare and radiant 1950's dress by legendary designer Tina Leser. Crafted from luminous saffron yellow cotton, this piece features intricate, folkloric embroidery across the bodice and cap sleeves—an elegant nod to Leser's lifelong fascination with global textile traditions.

The dress boasts a square neckline, a row of self-covered buttons, and a matching belt to cinch the waist, all flowing into a full, softly-structured skirt. The hem of the skirt is lined in "horse hair" to give added structure. Light as air and utterly graceful, this dress embodies the refined, worldly spirit that made Leser a standout among mid-century American designers.

Tina Leser’s work is held in the permanent collections of institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a testament to her influence and artistry.
