A breathtaking example of 1930s craftsmanship, this sapphire blue hand-crocheted dress embodies the elegance and individuality of Depression-era fashion. Entirely handmade, the openwork crochet pattern forms a delicate interplay of light and shadow, designed to drape fluidly over the figure while highlighting the artistry of its maker.

The dress features fluttering short sleeves and a gently fitted waist, giving way to a skirt that falls in soft, graceful lines. The intricate crochet motif—alternating geometric and shell-like patterns—evokes the romantic femininity of the period while maintaining a modern, sculptural appeal.

Completing the ensemble is its coordinating belt, featuring an oval buckle adorned with raised sapphire-toned cabochons framed by gilt leaves. I have been searching for the perfect dress to pair with this incredible 30's belt buckle and am thrilled to have finally found the perfect match. The belt ties in the back and the ribbon can be swapped for different colors or fabrics. 

Both pieces are in excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
