The silk brocade is woven in champagne with gleaming gold metallic lamé, in a bold pattern of chrysanthemums and full-blown roses. An oversized portrait collar frames the face, and the loose, easy cut falls from the shoulders over a center back pleat. Three-quarter sleeves finish in deep turned-back cuffs of plush ivory mink. It is fully lined in ivory silk, with side pockets and a bow at each inner cuff. Worn open over a cocktail dress or gown, it is pure Golden Age glamour.
