Rare late 40's couture opera coat by legendary designer Jeanne Lanvin. Made of the most sumptuous aqua blue silk brocade and featuring a gathered empire bust, ballon sleeves, button at the neck and full aline skirt. Chocolate brown mink fur trims the collar and cuffs. The interior is a marvel of design and I wish I had the language to properly describe to construction. In overall excellent condition except for overall fading to the color. A rare and historical piece of fashion history.
