Stunning early-1990s couture wedding gown by Eva Haynal Forsyth for Scaasi Bride, dated 1992, and it beautifully channels the drama and architectural precision for which Scaasi was known.

Crafted in luminous ivory silk satin, the gown features a sculptural off-the-shoulder neckline with dramatically folded, wing-like sleeves that frame the décolletage and shoulders. The bodice is impeccably tailored, with architectural pleating that sweeps diagonally across the torso, meeting at the waist in a soft, sculpted knot effect that emphasizes an hourglass silhouette. Structured boning and expert seaming create a corseted fit through the waist, flowing seamlessly into a full, floor-length skirt with generous volume and a sweeping chapel-length train.

The back mirrors the precision of the front, with a clean, elegant line and continued pleating at the waist that anchors the design. The skirt is lined in layers of crinoline for fullness and the train has hooks for a bustle. Fully lined and beautifully finished, the gown bears its original labels, underscoring its authenticity and couture-level construction. In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
